About us Waterford democratic club

We're the Waterford Democratic Club; the WD Club for short and
as expressed in our unique logo. We, of course, believe in and
vigorously support the principles of the Democratic Party. And
don't need to enumerate them here, since you know what they
are, or you wouldn't be on this site.
We stand for the great principles of the Founding Fathers; liberty
and justice for all…including the less advantaged and not just the
privileged and powerful few. The fundamental bedrock we stand
firm on is equality, fairness and social justice. Our Club's mission
is to promote these beliefs and principles at our local community
level and to aid Democratic candidates in their election efforts.
If these are your beliefs and goals, you'll find instant welcoming
friendship and camaraderie at the WD Club. We meet once a
month preceded with a potluck buffet of good food and soft
drinks…and usually feature interesting and often well-known
speakers to address us on the important political issues of our
time.
We're your neighbors, your shopkeepers, your union friends,
your schoolteachers and your elected officials among others in
our community. We're a large part of Waterford and our
surrounding communities. And we'd be larger with you. And with
what you can bring to the party. Join us. We'll be even stronger.
